All I wanna do is let it be, and be with YOU! :)

Ever since Mel (the best friend) and I researched amazing vacation spots, I have been dying to go back to St. Lucia (where we honeymooned)! It was amazing! I miss the slow paced relaxation, and the beautiful beach! And just chilling with my new hubby! Then this morning, Stev didn't have to work until 1pm! (So nice!) So we took our time getting out of bed, watched TV, and ate a delicious breakfast… Now even more I miss all the time we had together on the honeymoon! It is so nice to be able to hang out without having anything to do (well the amazing beaches and all inclusive drinks/food helped also)! Honeymoons are super good for that! I wish we could go on a honeymoon once a month! Anyway, I went back over all of our photos and reminisced a little :) Hope you enjoy!

The water was so nice!

My sweet Husband! :)

Look at that view! So beautiful!

The water is so blue there...

I just LOVE him!

See, a little chillin in the hammock… Aww that was the life ;)

And beautiful sunsets, might I add :)

Mmmmm bread :)

Ok, so one thing I have become obsessed with in the last few months of marriage is baking! It is pretty much amazing! I got a kitchen aid as a wedding gift (from the thorkelson family :) and I use it all of the time. It changed my life :) haha! Ok maybe not changed it, but it definitely enhanced it! So, now I bake all types of things like cupcakes (as I have mentioned earlier), lots and lots of cookies, and now bread! It is so much more fun to me than cooking. It actually relaxes me! Anyway, here is a photo I took of some delicious homemade white bread... (simple really, I got the recipe from the kitchen aid cook book!)

5 days short of 6 months :)

So Stev had an extra day off of work this weekend so we took a 1/2 year anniversary day trip. Technically we will have been married for six months on Saturday the 6th of August...but we had the time to go on monday so we headed up toward Cupertino. Now, I know it may not sound too exciting, but we visited the Apple headquarters (my husband works for the Apple retail store) so that Stev could get "badged." I am actually still a little unclear as to what this really means, but Stev was quite excited for it. But, sadly, they are "temporarily not badging retail employees until October..." Sad day. We had to go and get a temporary badge to look around, but didn't have very much access to anything. Still we went into the cafeteria in hopes of seeing someone like Steve Jobs or someone cool like that. No luck. So we went to Ikea! Just about my favorite place to go and find inexpensive ways to spruce up my house a bit :)! And we found some good finds there and at crate and barrel! Now, here is the good part... we went to Kara's in Palo Alto! Its the best cupcake shop ever known, at least to any of us here on the west coast! Its love :)

I love this place! You gotta try it, if you haven't all ready! :)

Stev said "can you give me a little more attitude for the photo?" Hahaha and so I did :)

Estevan's favorite cupcake is the banana carmel, its banana cake with carmel filling, and cream cheese frosting... pretty amazing I must say! :)

But my favorite is the sweet vanilla! I just cannot get enough of it!

So, I guess as you can tell, I LOVE cupcakes! I have been trying to experiment myself with baking some, but needless to say, they are no where near the yummy goodness of Kara's! We left the cupcake shop, and walked around downtown Palo Alto... super fun! We ended our evening with the excellent dining of the Cheesecake Factory! It was so fun. On the way home, we listened to the radio... and created movie scenes that we thought would go along with the song, and explained them to each other! haha Stev started it, he has some pretty crazy ideas! All in all, I had a lot of fun! I just really cannot believe its has been half a year since the wedding!

XOXO Thanks for reading :)
